 During the time of the Jewish spring harvest festival of Shavuot, seven weeks after the holiday of Passover, followers of Jesus experienced the empowerment that would make them a new community. That day became known as Pentecost in the Christian church and is celebrated as the birth of the Church.

In the Bible, "Acts of the Apostles," we witness the journey of a once-fearful and confused group of disciples being transformed into apostles, messengers sent to testify of their faith. This divine empowerment catalyzed a movement that would change the course of history forever.

Each year, we continue to add chapters to our church's story—chapters marked by moments of joy, triumph, and occasional challenges. Yet, through it all, we remain steadfast in our commitment to proclaim the good news, to extend compassion to the hurting, and to foster a community where all are welcomed and embraced.

In the unfolding chapters of our church's story, may we continue to write with boldness, humility, and unwavering faith, knowing that the greatest chapters are yet to come. Welcome to our church—a place where hearts are transformed, lives are renewed, and God's love knows no bounds
