Meet our Pastor

Elder Kyo Cummings was born in Columbus, Ohio, July 12, 1972. He was spiritually born on August 14, 1983, under the pastorate of his father, the late Suffragan Bishop Claude W. Cummings. Elder Cummings holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baldwin Wallace College in Speech Communications.  Elder Cummings has worked in the television industry since 1995 and is currently employed by WJW Fox 8 in the graphics and news department.

 
Knowing that he was called to the ministry, he desired to complete courses that would complement his calling from God.  He completed his ministerial courses at Aenon Bible College, and takes continuing education courses with Moody Bible Institute. Elder Kyo Cummings answered his call to the ministry January 3, 1996.  In 1998 he became a licensed minister, and July 2001 he again affirmed his call and was ordained by the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.  Elder Cummings was elevated to Associate Pastor of Ebenezer Assembly of Christ in 1999, Assistant Pastor  in November  of 2000, and Co-Pastor in November of 2003.  He was installed as the Pastor of Ebenezer Assembly of Christ in 2007.
 
Elder Cummings has held several other positions, both elected and appointed: President of the Northern Ohio District Brotherhood Auxiliary,  Ohio District Council Youth Camp Pastor, and he has worked on the Ohio District Council’s Credential's  & Resolution's Committees. Elder Cummings is involved in the community, having worked with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Youth Empowerment Program, Ohio Reads, Lee Harvard Ministerial Alliance, Cleveland Apostolic Ministerial Fellowship, Next Generation Pastor’s Institute, and various other programs designed to help and aid others. 
 
Elder Cummings is married to Lady Lisa Cummings.  They have been married since August, 1999. Together, they have two sons.
